Think! shoes stand for individual design, uncompromising comfort, and consistent sustainability. For over 30 years, the Austrian brand has been combining traditional shoemaking craftsmanship with ecological responsibility—creating high-quality women's and men's shoes with an unmistakable signature style.
The roots of the Koller family's shoemaking tradition date back to 1860. Over generations, a shoemaker's workshop developed into the Think! brand, which has been producing shoes in Kopfing since 1991 that are much more than just fashionable accessories.
Think! has been part of legero united since 2001. Under this umbrella, shoes for the legero, superfit, and Think! brands are designed and developed in Feldkirchen near Graz and Kopfing. As a global company, legero united sells shoes in more than 40 countries and has its own production facilities in Hungary, Romania, and India.
Details about the group of companies, its brands, and international activities can be found on the official website of legero united:
Leather is the most important raw material used in Think! shoe production. Thanks to its natural elasticity, breathable structure, and ability to absorb moisture, it creates an incomparably comfortable environment for the feet. At the same time, leather stands for durability and dimensional stability—properties that contribute significantly to long-lasting comfort.
Only high-quality leather from European tanneries that are subject to the strictest environmental regulations is used. But legal requirements alone do not meet Think!'s standards. That is why the brand also defines its own particularly strict limits for heavy metals, chlorinated phenols, and preservatives. The result is chrome-free tanned leather with a natural look, unique character, and uncompromising quality.
We value every single step of the process and combine the highest standards of craftsmanship with state-of-the-art industrial manufacturing methods. Up to 200 steps are involved in handcrafting shoes from the highest quality materials that meet our strict criteria.
Each shoe has its own individual personality—shaped by experience, care, and enthusiasm for genuine shoemaking craftsmanship.
At Think!, we wanted to do things differently. At first, we were viewed with skepticism. Nevertheless, Martin Koller stuck to his vision and continued on his path undeterred. It was by no means a straight path; there were curves, detours, and stumbling blocks. But for us, it is the right path. Individuality, self-confidence, and the opportunity to express oneself freely are fundamental at Think! Our shoes have personality. They are colorful, diverse, well-designed, unusual, and never boring. And they are definitely distinctive. This makes them a perfect fit for the people who wear them.
At Think!, sustainability is not a trend, but a lived conviction. Our commitment goes beyond individual measures and encompasses material selection, workmanship, durability, and reparability.
We primarily use chrome-free tanned leather from European tanneries that are subject to strict environmental regulations. All leathers are tested according to ISO testing procedures. In addition, we apply our own limits that exceed legal requirements.
We work with sheltered workshops and support environmental and social projects. We were the first shoe manufacturer to be awarded both the Austrian Ecolabel and the Blue Angel for our commitment to sustainability. This makes us proud—and motivates us to continue on our path.
In the spirit of slow fashion, we create collections that are built to last instead of fast fashion. Designs are continuously refined, proven lasts are maintained, and many components are interchangeable. In our in-house workshop in Kopfing, numerous models are given a second life through our repair service—a conscious sign of durability and resource conservation.
