Ensuring the future viability of our environment means treating it with respect in the present. At Think!, we are not merely paying lip service to treating our natural resources in a way that is sustainable and taking corporate responsibility; for us, these are deeply held beliefs which we have practised for over 30 years. Short transport distances, natural materials wherever this does not compromise the quality, the fair manufacture of our shoes in Europe by hand as well as eco-friendly individual processing steps contribute to us not taking more out of the environment than we can give back.

Sustainable materials

At Think!, the focus is on natural, renewable raw materials and the highest quality. We use only high-quality materials for the leather, soles, linings and decorative fittings. This results in durable shoes that can be repaired and, at the end of their life cycle, disposed of with as little environmental impact as possible.

Handcrafted

TCraftsmanship thrives on the experience of people who love what they do. People who, through their knowledge and skills, make every product they create unique. We have always relied on attention to detail, intuition and genuine enthusiasm. That is why, at our Think! shoe factories, our highly trained staff craft every shoe by hand in up to 200 individual steps.

Sustainable initiatives

Think!’s pursuit of sustainability goes beyond its manufacturing activities. Think! takes its responsibilities towards people and nature very seriously, and has done so for over 30 years. We support social initiatives such as the sheltered workshop Lebenshilfe Oberösterreich, and we have also been sponsoring beehives in cooperation with local bee conservation projects since 2018.

Sustainable certificates & labels

In 2015, Think! became the first footwear manufacturer to be awarded the Austrian Ecolabel, and in 2017 it received the Blue Angel for the first time. Since then, over 50 Think! models have been awarded these labels.
